A Story of Renewal and Transformation

When I was younger I knew I wanted to help others, I wanted a family, and I wanted to live a life with purpose. In my twenties, I found a career in the healthcare industry, became a wife and mother of three amazing children. What was supposed to be the life of my dreams was also laden with depression, anxiety, and burnout. What I wouldn’t know until years later was that I was lacking self-care.

In my late thirties, as a healthcare professional, I kept hearing, “it's part of the aging process.” Patients and family members as young as forty were debilitated, having strokes and heart attacks. I personally was dealing with an autoimmune disease (Type I Diabetes) and elevated cholesterol. In a pivotal conversation with my endocrinologist, I was introduced to plant-based eating. In five months, I reduced my insulin needs more

than 2⁄3, and no longer needed cholesterol medication.

Just a few short years later, in 2022, I lost my Dad to a ten year battle with Lewey Body Dementia and Leukemia at the age of 64. His loss fueled my desire to live a more full-filled life. To seek more. I fell in love with hiking and moving my body. I started to journal and learned to meditate, to slow down in a world that seems to always want us to function at warp speed. I learned to travel solo and be OK with simply being me.

At 48 years young, divorced, and with all my eagles having flown the nest, I now wish to help others find their own journey of transformation, and live a long healthy life.

My coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that true healing extends beyond the absence of disease, and involves a well rounded approach of the whole body - mind, body, and spirit. As a holistic wellness coach, I am a guide for change towards self-development tapping into each person’s inner wisdom and resilience. By creating a safe space clients are able to explore their unique path to well-being. My purpose is to empower each client to become experts in their own health, being informed and in charge of their choices and therefore living a happier, healthier life.

The program duration typically ranges from 3 to 12 months, with a minimum 3-month commitment to allow meaningful transformation to take place. As clients progress, it’s recommended to gradually taper sessions to bi-weekly and eventually monthly for continued accountability and sustained growth. The exact plan and duration are personalized based on each individual’s needs, as determined during the initial holistic assessment.

I absolutely love hiking and traveling—our world is filled with breathtaking wonders, and there’s nothing like moving my body while soaking in the beauty and energy around me. Beyond that, I’m a proud Ya-Ya to two handsome grandsons, and it brings me so much joy knowing that by maintaining my functional health, I’ll have many more years to play, explore, and create beautiful memories with my family.
